Digital Catalogue Privacy and Enquiry Checklist

A checklist for publishing useful product information without exposing customer data, private pricing or internal documents.

Before sharing a catalogue publicly: • Remove customer names, phone numbers and order references from images. • Decide whether prices are public, approximate or available only after enquiry. • Use stable product codes instead of internal customer nicknames. • Check that staff know who receives enquiries and how quickly to respond. • Keep editable source files private and back them up. • Test every page on a normal mobile connection. Review access whenever a staff member or external vendor changes.
